MST3K: best show ever?

Mrs. AL and I were listening to Peter Aaron's show last night on WGXC, to which you should immediately donate some money, when he played a recording of a radio interview with the Slits. Although that was interesting and chaotic enough all by itself, it also naturally lead Mrs. AL to recall what may be the best skit ever done on Mystery Science Theater 3000:

The combination of the joke, done in the style of a Bergman film and in the form of a Sven and Olie joke is just too much (at least for olds like me). Genius.
